UNTITLED (HALO) | UNTITLED ( HALO) CD

Los Angeles quartet untitled (halo) arrives with its self-titled debut album, untitled (halo), landing via Dirty Hit. Rooted in the band’s blend of trip-hop, shoegaze, and art rock, it introduces “California Melancholia,” a mood shaped by the push and pull of Southern California living.

Built from the creative chemistry of Ariana Mamnoon, Jack Dione, Jay Are, and Nicholas Noneman, the record draws from music, film, literature, and visual art to create a fully realised world with a strong emotional centre.

Already backed by Pitchfork, Pigeons & Planes, KCRW, and Perfectly Imperfect, with features in The FADER, Document Journal, Complex, Flaunt Magazine, Teen Vogue, Silknode, and more, untitled (halo) feels like a confident introduction from one of alternative music’s most intriguing new bands.
