December 6th sees the re-release of 'ABBA Gold', the band's ever-green hits album. Following its original release in 1992 the record has sold over 28 million copies worldwide and is the fifth biggest-selling album of all time in the UK. ‘ABBA Gold’ has topped the Artist Album Charts five times and made chart history in 2008 when it returned to the #1 spot sixteen years after its first release.The deluxe CD / DVD edition includes remastered videos of all ABBA’s greatest hits plus a cartoon version of ‘Money Money Money’ made circa 1977. This very rare clip was made by the Australian production company Reg Grundy and was only ever screened briefly during ABBA's heyday and has never been seen in complete form since.The re-release is to coincide with the ITV1 special 'The Nations Favourite Abba Song' airing on 5th December at 9pm after X Factor.The 90-minute special will be a landmark celebration of Abba’s incredible catalogue of hits and will feature fantastic archive clips of all 25 UK singles as well as revealing interviews with Bjorn, Frida and a host of other guests including Richard Curtis, Pixie Lott, Meryl Street, Julie Walters, Pierce Brosnan and Nicole Scherzinger.
