Originally released in 1982, I, Assassin combines Numans pioneering electronica with a jazzy fretless bass and solid rock drumming. Though the change from his earlier pop style resulted in moderate sales at the time, the albums groove-orientated songs offer a complexity and maturity that has a more contemporary edge. The remaster includes the three singles, White Boys and Heroes, Music For Chameleons and We Take Mystery as well as seven bonus tracks.
