We Will Always Be The Way We Were follows 2024's Miss Italia - Savoretti's acclaimed Italian-language album - and features the recent singles 'Do It For Love' (co-written with Miles Kane) and 'Only Gonna Cry For You' (featuring Steph Fraser). Across its 13 tracks, the record moves between smoky, late-night balladry ('Do It For Love'), widescreen pop optimism ('I Hear You Calling'), a duet with KT Tunstall on 'Tempting Fate' and the shimmering Italo-disco pulse of its title track - an ode to nostalgia, change and self-acceptance.
