"Be Here Now" is the third release in Oasis' "Chasing The Sun: 1993-1997" series, celebrating the 20th anniversary of its recording sessions at Abbey Road Studios. Recorded with producer Owen Morris at Abbey Road, Ridge Farm, and Air Studios between October 1996 and May 1997, the album was originally released on August 21, 1997, selling 700,000 copies in three days and becoming the fastest-selling UK album at release. It has sold over 8 million copies worldwide, with singles "D'You Know What I Mean?" and "All Around The World" reaching No. 1, and "Stand By Me" reaching No. 2.
