Andy Stitzer (Carrel) is 40 and seems to have the perfect life- a proud collection of action figures, toys and comic books, cushy job at an electronics store, smart apartment, close friends and a good attitude. However, the one thing missing in his life, something that he hasn't gotten round to doing, something that most people his age are quite experienced in - he has never ever had sex - not even by accident.
