Van Houten emerge from the burgeoning alternative indie landscape of Leeds to continue the city's rich recent tradition of incredible guitar bands. Crafting their own blend of lo-fi indie, psych rock, shoegaze and garage rock, they've pitted a distinct '90s alternative sound against true pop sensibilities.
