The new and 6th album of the band will be named WEEZER and codename THE RED ALBUM. More than three years after MAKE BELIEVE, the band in Cuomo (more than 7 million albums sold worldwide) is back and in great shape given the first single “Pork & Beans”. The album is largely produced by Rick Rubin (Red Hot Chili Peppers, Johnny Cash, Audioslave, The Mars Volta, Justin Timberlake, Linkin Park...). The first single is called “Pork and Beans”, produced by Jacknife Lee (R.E.M., The Hives, Editors, Bloc Party, U2...). The title recalls the Weezer era Blue Album with a melodious and quirky verse and a refrain the very heavy foot on the disto for our delight! A rock title, a real one, already 4th in the Modern Rock Us, and rotating in France on the Mouv' and OuïFM.
