Airplane | Blu Ray

Ted Striker (Robert Hays), a former fighter pilot traumatized by his wartime experiences, boards a commercial flight to win back his ex-girlfriend, Elaine Dickinson (Julie Hagerty), who is working as a flight attendant. Mid-flight, many passengers and crew members suffer food poisoning, incapacitating the pilots. Despite his fear of flying, Ted is compelled to take control of the aircraft. With the assistance of Elaine and guidance from Dr. Rumack (Leslie Nielsen), Ted confronts his personal demons to safely land the plane, delivering a comedic take on heroism and romance.
