Description

Discover an adventure for the ages in The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time for Nintendo Switch 2. Featuring reimagined visuals, a refreshed soundtrack and modernised gameplay, this classic quest has been remade for a whole new era.

Wisdom, Power, Courage

The Triforce is a magical object formed from three golden triangles representing wisdom, power and courage. It is said to grant the wish of anyone who lays hands upon it, making its existence an endless source of conflict throughout Hyrule.

The Boy Without a Fairy…

Guided by destiny, Link sets out on a heroic journey across the kingdom of Hyrule and through two different eras. Experience this timeless tale and meet its vibrant cast of characters, now brought to life through new dialogue and fully voiced cutscenes.

Welcome to Hyrule

At the heart of this majestic kingdom lies Hyrule Field, a sprawling meadow that leads to bustling towns, a foreboding volcano, a picturesque lake, a harsh desert and many other fascinating places.

Cover long distances on foot using Link’s new dash ability and leap freely across gaps and obstacles with the push of a button. You can even befriend a trusty steed to ride later in your adventure.

Seek Out Wisdom

Explore every corner of the kingdom and help the people of Hyrule to earn rewards for your efforts. Time passes wherever you are, bringing new faces and dangerous foes out after sunset.

Not sure where to go next? Consult the Threads of Time to revisit the story so far, check your current objectives and admire a grand tapestry chronicling Link’s journey.

Test Thy Courage

Dungeons and sacred temples are hidden throughout Hyrule, each filled with perplexing puzzles, fearsome foes and tantalising treasures. Use your wits and the items at your disposal to overcome environmental obstacles, tests of logic and the malevolent monsters lurking deep within.

Wield Powerful Gear

Whether you are battling beasts, solving puzzles or exploring the kingdom, you will need the right equipment for every situation. Conveniently swap between weapons and items on the fly, then aim slingshots, bows and other tools with precision using motion controls.

Some items are only available to Link during a particular era of his adventure.

Mysterious Melodies

Throughout your quest, you will learn songs that can be played on Link’s ocarina. These mysterious melodies play an important role in his journey, opening new paths, turning day into night and much more.

Play the correct notes using button controls, hum the melody into the built-in microphone of Nintendo Switch 2 or even try performing the songs on a real ocarina.

Compatible with amiibo

Tap compatible amiibo, sold separately, to unlock special in-game masks for Link to wear. Compatible figures include Young Link and Young Zelda, both releasing in 2027.
