ROLE MODEL | Chuck Timely & The Hourglass | CD 696

Role Model operates in pop, indie pop, and alt-pop, blending warm, minimalist production, muted guitars, and subtle trap percussion. His songs explore vulnerability, mental health, insecurity, romance, self-sabotage, and coming-of-age anxieties, delivered with plainspoken, lightly melodic phrasing that feels like a late-night conversation. The signature is unvarnished honesty over uncluttered, hook-forward arrangements. Role Model is a solo project by Tucker Pillsbury; on tour, he performs with a rotating backing band, but all recording and creative direction center on Pillsbury as the principal writer and vocalist. While a largely DIY-spirited artist, Role Model has earned gold- and platinum-level streaming thresholds across platforms, regular placements on major editorial playlists, sold-out theater tours, and coverage from outlets such as Billboard, Rolling Stone, and NME. His releases have appeared on multiple Billboard charts and national airplay in the U.S., U.K., and Europe. Listeners connect to the candor, small-detail storytelling, and comforting tone that make complicated feelings feel seen. The tight community around his socials, approachable live shows, and steady, relatable songwriting nurture long-term devotion.
